Needle Felting Workshop – Create A Felted Landscape

During our Needle Felting Workshop – Create A Felted Landscape, you will create one of two 3d landscapes.  Choose from two designs on booking.

Either the Bothy Landscape or a Toadstool & Moss Scape then on the day you will be given your own personalised felting kit to use and keep.

During the workshop you will gain a basic knowledge about the different types of wool used in needle felting, a guide to felting needles and tools often used and the art of constructing 3D pieces. Then using a range of wools and  needles, over the course of the day you will create a beautiful needle felted 3D landscape in a terracotta tray.

Should you be hooked on needle felting after this workshop you could even use your project as a very special project needle cushion to keep your needles safe!
Suitable for Beginners, Adults & Children 12yrs and older (with supervision of adult also attending the course).

Are you interested in creating your own piece of furniture for your home from scratch and learning some essential upholstery techniques? If so then our Upholstery Workshop – Make Your Very Own Footstool is ideal for you!
The workshop is designed to teach the techniques required to upholster your very own footstool and provide you with essential knowledge on the materials and tools required.

During the day, you will receive 4 hours tuition with 45mins light lunch provided break and a 15minute comfort/tea break.
It is important to remember it is possible you may not fully finish your stool during this time as it is skill dependent, however you will be provided with the advice and instruction on how to finish in your own time if not.

The course includes;

The Footstool Frame
Bottom Cloth
Wood Queen Anne Legs
Buttons, decorative strips and nails can be requested separately, please enquire on booking.
4hrs tuition
Tea/Coffee, Light Lunch (Soup /Sandwich)

Fabric – you must bring 1m2 piece of your own

Note the size of stool will be approximately: 23” (L) x 20” (W) x 10” (H). If you wish to purchase fabric in advance then you can do this by indicating this on booking and we will recommend links/or  can purchase on your behalf at a discounted rate.

It is always recommended that fire retardant fabric is selected.
